A Lardner From 1956

The author of this book was originally known as Rex Lardner Jr.

As the chief radio and television writer for the innovative comedian Ernie Kovacs,
Rex Lardner won a Sylvania Award in 1956 for creative television technique.

Therefore, you would need all the fingers and all the toes found on Long Island
To count how many comedy writers Rex has influenced.
He is the nephew of the uber-blogged and under-appreciated RING LARDNER
