Fifty Years Ago Today...
October 5, 1962...
This song, by "Four lads from Liverpool" was released in England.
It was the Beatles' first Top Ten hit song and there were many many more where that came from.
Paul McCartney "Love, Love Me Do..."
And love them we did.
If I listen to Love Me Do fifty times in the next fifty hours, I will still be missing something.
That something is the lead instrument of this simple melody.
Imagine what other wonderful things John Lennon could have done with the mouth harp.
