Obviously, the author of the DREAM MANIFESTO is a fan of Alice In Wonderland and, therefore, a kindred spirit.
The author, who is British,is also a fan of the Declaration of Independence.
Thomas Jefferson, who was Virginian, was also a fan of this document which was published before the Declaration of Independence ever saw the light of history.

Describing a British person as being a fan of ALICE IN WONDERLAND is almost equal to describing an American as having vowels in his–or her–name.
