Simon Louvish: Salvador Dali came over from Spain in 1935, and was
a big hit in New York. Then he travelled to California and met Harpo.
Groucho Marx: Dali didn't speak any English and Harpo didn't speak Spanish or French. So they got along fine.
I think Dali gave him a harp with strings of barbed wire. All hung with spoons. Harpo never played it. I wonder why.
