In the Sixties
Thinking outside the box
Required a long reach.
But the box was oversized
And held together
By Free Speech.
The box was given a lid
And a zipper
As in Zip the Lip:
Be Politically Correct
(And held together by
The verbal sanitation grip.)
In the Tens
If we must not offend
Laughter may come to an end
Or a soft bend.
Did he really say that?
